Biography:
Steven Rogers, known as Captain America, is a World War II veteran who was deemed physically unfit for service. He volunteered for a top-secret military program called Project Rebirth, where he was injected with a Super-Soldier Serum and exposed to Vita-Rays, transforming him into the physically and mentally perfect Captain America.
During the war, he became a symbol of hope and freedom, leading numerous missions against the Axis powers. He was presumed dead near the end of the war after plunging into the Arctic, but was discovered frozen in ice decades later. He was revived in the 21st century and joined the Avengers, Earth's mightiest heroes.
Following events involving enhanced individuals and collateral damage, the Sokovia Accords were proposed, requiring superheroes to operate under the oversight of the United Nations. Captain America opposed the Accords, believing that government control would compromise the Avengers' ability to protect the world effectively. This ideological clash led to a division within the team, ultimately resulting in the "Civil War," where he fought against Iron Man and those who supported the Accords.
